Once engines are registered with Central Management and a user is authenticated to Central Management, users can access the engines without the need to authenticate again.

Accessing Virtualization Engines

You will be able to access Delphix Engine to which you have access to from Virtualization Engine page directly. 

To access the Virtualization Engine directly from Central Management, perform the following steps.

1. Login to Central Management.
2. Navigate to the Virtualization tab and select the Virtualization option from the pop-out menu.
3. Review all engines (you must have an account on the engine for it to show up on this list).
4. As shown below click the icon next to the engine name you want to access.
   
   

You will be navigated in a new tab to the selected engine.

 To navigate back to Central Management, close the tab and return to the prior tab.

Accessing Masking Engines

To access the Masking Engine directly from Central Management, perform the following steps:

1. Login to Central Management.
2. Navigate to the Masking tab. 
3. Review all the Delphix Masking Engines.
4. Click the icon next to the engine name as shown below.
   
   

The selected Delphix Masking Engine name appears on a new tab.

To navigate back to Central Management, close the tab and return to the prior tab.

Accessing Datasets

In addition to providing seamless access to engines, Central Management also enables navigating directly to datasets. 

To directly access a Dataset

1. Login to Central Management.
2. Navigate to the Virtualization tab and click the Virtualization option from the pop-out menu. 
3. Using the Search for Datasets bar, enter the search for data sets that you wish to see.
   
   
4. Review all the datasets. 
5. Click the icon next to the dataset name. The selected dataset appears in a new window. 
   
   

To navigate back to Central Management, close the tab and return to the prior tab.
